We had to drive by this place twice to find it because the entrance is hard to see. The highway out front has a speed limit of 60 mph and the entrance is marked by a small sign near the ground, that is hard to see. The park has two main trails, blue and green. We walked the blue one, the trail was lined with mostly dead trees and branches partly because an oil pipeline runs through there. There was one bench we saw along the trail, near the pond but there were other benches near the parking area too. The trails are a bit rocky and sandy, but we are in West Texas.

Great spot, to bike or hike, just be careful if you're running the trail, bikers can't stop on a dime. I'd recommend going later in the day if you plan on running.
