Read Morei cannot speak for anyone else as your experience may not 'feel' the same. but to me, who has always wanted to travel to see the original, visited on the first day of fall. it was well worth the extra stop to see this in person! great job to the university and students who undertook this 'modern marvel'
Interesting. Provides some background detail on the original Stonehenge history and description of the replica's construction and materials. Would look cool at night with the light fixtures turned on.
Very cool structure in Midland, Texas. Theres plenty of parking in the school parking lots and no entry fee. Theres a paved walkway for easy access. A very cool spot to stop by for a few pictures to explore!
It's free, easy to get to, has plenty of parking, and is a really cool monument to UT Permian's Art Department--pun intended. There's a nice paved walking path around it and several benches interspersed. There's even a tree swing nearby. If you're in Odessa, why not swing by and take a look?
It was interesting. I guess the coolest experience would be to visit at sunrise on the first day of any of the seasons.
